Hi!

My name is Joe Seymond and I am an alcoholic celebrating 20 years of sobriety in October of this year 2010.

I am an addictions counsellor and have been in this field for 17 years. I am of the Algonquin First Nation and very proud of it. I have seen a lot in my years of recovery. I did not grow up on a reserve; I grew up in a little town 60 miles Northwest of Ottawa. I am 52 years of age and I am in the infant stages of writing my autobioggraphy. I am basically happy to be sober and alive because the way I drank I shouldn't be. I lived a very violent lifestyle and grew up in an alcoholic home.
